                          Potato Peas Curry 

                       




This Potato Peas Curry is very simple and easy to make. 
Delicious and tasty Aloo Matar - 

Here i will show you how to make potato curry in pressure cooker which is very easy, simple, tasty and excellent. 

This recipe goes well with chapathi,naan,white rice, Rasam rice also. 



You can add coconut milk at the final stage, it gives a great taste and texture.

                            INGREDIENTS

 

Potato - 3 Tomato - 3 Onion _ 1 Turmeric powder - 1tsp Chilli powder -2tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder - 1tbsp garam masala - 1tsp cumin powder - 1tsp salt to taste water 1 cup oil - 3tbsp kasuri methi . 1 tsp coriender leaves few


Method  


Heat Oil in a pressure pan (Cooker) and crackle cumin seeds. Fry Onion till it browns.



Add ginger garlic paste and saute well. Add Green chilli and tomato puree( Grind the tomatoes without adding water and make a smooth paste)


Now add turmeric powder, chilli powder, kashmiri chilli powder, Garam masala, cumin powder. Mix well and add salt as required. 


Add green peas and unboiled potatoes. mix well for few mins. After mixing well add water 1cup. Now add kasuri methi and

Mix it. 



For extra taste and texture you can add coconut milk also


Now close the cooker with cooker lid and pressure cook till  2whistle.

Switch off the flame and wait till pressure release.

Open the lid after the pressure goes. Garnish with Coriander leaves 





serve hot with puri or chapathi.
