This Masala Dosa recipe is very unique in taste because I have added one secret ingredient which will bring awesome flavour to this dish.
For this dish, we have to boil the potatoes nicely so that we can mash them easily. We can add beetroot, mushroom and paneer which will be more delicious.
Masala dosa is a very famous recipe in the south side.
We can serve this masala dosa with sambar or coconut chutneys but this unique masala dosa is filled with spicy masala inside so no side dish is required.

Ingredients
- Potato - 3
- Onion - 2
- Tomato - 1
- Oil - 3tbp
- water - 1/2cup
- Mustard seeds- 1tsp
- Hing powder pinch
- Turmeric powder - 1/2tsp
- Chilli powder - 1tsp
- Cumin powder - 1/2tsp
- Pav baji masala - 1tbsp
- Salt as required
- Coriander leaves few
- Dosa batter as required
- Oil and ghee - 2tbsp
Method
- Heat oil in a Kadai, add mustard seeds and hing/asfodiea powder. let them sizzle.
- Add onion and tomato, saute them well.
- After raw smells go add turmeric powder, chilli powder, cumin powder and pav baji masala.
- Mix well and cook for few mins.
- Now add water and bring it to a boil.
- After few mins, onion and tomato will be cooked completely
- Add mashed potatoes and mix well.
- Add salt
- Finally, add coriander leaves and mix well.
- Masala ready.
- Now heat dosa tava, meanwhile in a bowl take ghee and oil.
- mix well for drizzling.
- After Tava is heated spread dosa batter and make sure the dosa should be very thin.
- Drizzle the ghee mixture all around the dosa and cook until golden brown.
- Place the potato masala in the middle and fold it and serve immediately.

1) In this dish i have added pav baji masala powder , if you don't have then you can add normal garam masala powder also.
